Explore your creativity with Watercolour and Mixed Media, a welcoming and inspiring weekly art class led by experienced facilitator Georgia Taylor.

Held every Thursday from 10:30am to 12:30pm in Stamford Studio 2, these two-hour sessions are designed to support both beginners and more experienced artists. Each class typically begins with a recap of the previous week before introducing new colours, materials, and subject matter. Georgia’s teaching approach – shaped by seven years of experience and a background in primary education – ensures clear guidance, structured learning, and a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere.

Many participants have been attending for years and enjoy building confidence while experimenting with new techniques, while newcomers are supported at their own pace. The sessions emphasise curiosity, creativity, and connection – offering a space to learn, have fun, and meet like-minded people.

Materials and paints can be borrowed initially, though participants are encouraged to bring their own watercolour paper. Bockingford A3 paper is recommended for these sessions.

Classes are priced at £15 per session or £90 for a block of six.
