SAMT Welcomes Mike Toolan as Honorary Patron of the Arts Ahead of 90th Anniversary Celebrations

Sale and Altrincham Musical Theatre (SAMT) is delighted to announce that Mike Toolan, renowned broadcaster and presenter, has joined as an Honorary Patron of the Arts as the organisation prepares to celebrate its milestone 90th anniversary.

 

Founded in 1936, SAMT has been a cornerstone of the local cultural scene, staging high-quality musical productions that entertain audiences and nurture homegrown talent. As the company approaches its landmark anniversary, this appointment marks an exciting step in further strengthening SAMT’s artistic community and outreach.

 

Mike Toolan is best known as a beloved voice of Manchester radio, having hosted popular breakfast shows on Hits Radio and Key 103, where he has entertained and engaged listeners for decades. With a career spanning radio, television, and live events, Mike’s deep connection to the arts and local community makes him the perfect addition to SAMT’s family. His passion for theatre, music, and storytelling aligns seamlessly with the organisation’s mission to inspire and entertain.
