Trafford is excited to unveil the program for the seventh annual Pride in Trafford festival — an inspiring celebration of LGBTQ+ life, creativity, and community. This year, we are thrilled to announce that the festivities will also be held in Altrincham, thanks to a collaboration between OYEZ Arts, Altrincham Library, and Sale Waterside, making it our most exciting and inclusive year yet!

OYEZ is proud to present three fantastic events as part of the Pride in Trafford program:

Sing-Along Screening of Rocketman
Date: Thursday, 15th May
Join us for a night of unforgettable entertainment as we celebrate Elton John’s extraordinary journey to fame with a sing-along version of Rocketman. Get your tickets

A Cupboard Full of Tomboys
Date: Friday, 16th May
Experience a powerful performance by poet and artist Jay Farley at OYEZ. This immersive show takes us from the metaphorical confines of a cupboard to a bold exploration of queer identity. Described as “A fast-moving stream of brilliance singing with the rhythms of Liverpool’s streets and the heart-strings of explosively lived experience.” Chris McAbe.

Drag and Draw
Date: Sunday, 18th May
Join us for an artistically-inspired afternoon featuring a fabulous drag model to inspire your creativity. Enjoy DJ-spun beats and a lively atmosphere while you unleash your artistic flair—no experience necessary!

Pride in Trafford offers a dynamic space for powerful performances, artistic showcases, and joyous gatherings, where everyone can celebrate love, identity, and diversity.
