The Wild Goose will take flight on Thursday 16th December 2021 when it opens its doors to the public.

This exciting new restaurant is brought to you by the same team running the very successful Tre Ciccio restaurants in Altrincham and Ramsbottom and the decor has been curated by Homebird.

The menu will be “retro-esque” in style with a modern twist bringing back Anglo-French classics serving an a la carte and a lunchtime fixed price table d’hote.

A traditional Sunday lunch menu will be launched mid-January 2022 where we will be offering a fixed price menu to include roast sirloin of Hereford beef, salt chamber dry-aged pork & roast Herdwick lamb.

The Wild Goose wine list has been selected by the acclaimed wine ‘guru’ George Bergier, where great wines will be offered at appealing, affordable prices together with classic cocktails, premium draught lager and a fine selection of spirits.

The restaurant seats up to 80 covers and will have an intimate feel. It will initially open 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday, for lunch and dinner.

Conveniently the restaurant is within 10 yards of the Goose Green car park.

The Wild Goose is the perfect venue to host your Christmas parties, birthdays and family celebrations.

To crown the year 2021 and celebrate the opening of the Wild Goose restaurant, on New Year’s Eve we will be offering a gourmet menu with Nyetimber English sparkling wine for £70.00 per head.
