Founder of Lund Bennett, Solicitor Kirsten Bennett and Co-owner of Capstone Financial, Sarah Healey, were approached to join the board as a result of their passion and enthusiasm for the community in Altrincham.

Twice named the Best Place to live in the Northwest by the Sunday Times – this thriving market town of Altrincham has benefited greatly from the work of Altrincham Business District (BID).

Business funded and business led, Altrincham BID is responsible for a program of footfall-driving events and seasonal campaigns to improve the trading environment in the town centre. Since the BID was launched, around £2.34m has been invested into Altrincham town centre improving the offerings for businesses and customers.

Kirsten, Managing Partner of Lund Bennett, a family law practice based in Altrincham and Manchester founded and established her business in the town centre back in 2012.  Over the last decade she has seen a great swathe of improvements in Altrincham owing in part to the fantastic work the BID is doing to improve services and support to the community.

Recently named as a coronation champion for Altrincham due to her charitable efforts, Kirsten, was approached by Altrincham BID earlier this year to be appointed to their board and help shape the future for the organisation moving forwards.

Sarah Healey, Director of Capstone Financial, has worked in Altrincham since 2008 and felt that it was the perfect place for her and her husband to set up their company. Capstone Financial offer financial advice on retirement planning, investment planning, inheritance tax planning and protection. With the majority of their clients being local Business Owners, Senior Professionals, NHS Professionals and retired individuals.

Sarah says, “Having been in Altrincham for over 14 years now, it is amazing to see the transformation and growth on the high street. It is great to see so many businesses flourishing and the community support for local companies is very special. We have grown our team from 3 to 25 people in Altrincham over the past few years and look forward to continuing our expansion for decades to come.”

The Altrincham BID Board is made up of individuals from the town centre who bring expertise and specialist knowledge from the business community.   A representative from Trafford Council and Transport for Greater Manchester are also board members.
