Local Radio Station for Manchester, Cheshire and across The North West; Happy Radio UK announces two new signings to its presenter line up, 10 months after its successful launch across Manchester, Cheshire and the North West.

Former Key 103 & BBC Radio 5Live Presenter; Sam Walker will be hosting a brand new Weekend show 12-2pm on both Saturday and Sunday on the expanding local radio station.

Sam Walker returns to the airwaves across the North West on Happy Radio UK after leaving the BBC in 2019.

Radio Station owners; Max Eden & Darren Proctor expressed their excitement on Sam joining their line up; ‘Sam is a fantastic broadcaster who has an amazing ability to connect with listeners, sharing entertaining stories about her hectic life and genuinely loving those songs that make you smile’.

To add to the weekend line up; Legendary Liverpool Broadcaster; Pete Price will be hosting the Guilty Pleasures show on Saturday Evenings from 6-8pm.

Happy Radio UK brings the Liverpool Legend; formerly of Radio City 96.7 back to the airwaves with a brand new show.

Darren and Max added ‘Pete really knows how to get a party going and we’re so excited to have him part of our line up, he will give us the perfect start to our Saturday evenings with those songs that we secretly love combined with Pete’s infectious energy and humour!’

 These two new signings join Happy Radio’s existing line up of heritage presenters including Steve Penk, Darren Proctor, Chelsea Norris, Spence Macdonald, Paul Crone and many more.

Happy Radio UK launched in April 2022 and has seen a phenomenal response in its first 10 months on air, broadcasting across the North West on DAB Radio, Online, On its App, on Freeview TV and on the smart speaker and heralding the return of local radio for Manchester, Cheshire and the North West.
