IQ Fitness – New Altrincham Gym to open in mid-December

Altrincham welcomes a new gym which will open in mid-December offering competitive prices, no joining fee and family friendly classes.

We chatted to owner Stuart Niven about the concept behind the new gym and its fresh approach to fitness.

"The concept around the gym is to incorporate the intelligence of fitness with the practicality of managing family commitments in the most competitive and flexible gym in Altrincham. We aim to be the most inclusive gym on the market.

As a former firearms and anti-terrorism officer I have personally been in some of the toughest and mentally challenging situations imaginable. I understand the ups and downs of people's fitness journeys having suffered from body dysmorphia but also successfully competing as a bodybuilder.

I now take those moments and experiences to help children and teenagers overcome their own personal issues by sharing my experience with them. I have recently been a guest speaker at North Cestrian & Altrincham Grammar School for boys."
