Get Ready for a Magical Evening at Altrincham’s ‘Carols from King’s Court’ on Wednesday 18th December

The much-loved annual festive singalong, Carols from King’s Court, is back next Wednesday, 18th December, promising to spread Christmas cheer to all who attend. This year’s event, organised by Altrincham BID, who produce Visit Altrincham and sponsored by Full Circle Funerals Partners, will begin at 6pm in King’s Court.
Led by Clare Morel and Richard Wetherall from The Music Place, with their incredible energy and enthusiasm, accompanied by members of The Music Place Choir, the singalong will feature well-known Christmas songs that everyone can join in with. Song sheets will also be provided.
Mandy White, Altrincham BID Director explained, “To accommodate the ever-growing popularity of the event, we are creating additional space by rearranging some of the tables, making it more comfortable for everyone who attends. An upgraded PA system will be in place so that wherever you are in King’s Court you will be able to hear and join in with the singalong. And who knows? With a bit of special Christmas magic, it might even snow!”
Festive drinks including mulled wine, Christmas cocktails, and hot chocolates will be available from the King’s Court bars. Delicious seasonal food will also be served by I Call Myself Sanchez.

Adding a poignant touch to the celebrations, event sponsors Full Circle Funerals Partners have included a Christmas memorial poem on the carol sheets to support those experiencing grief during the festive season.
Sara and Jeremy, owners of Full Circle Funerals Altrincham explain why they’re delighted to be sponsoring Carols from King’s Court again this year, “This will be our third year sponsoring Carol’s from King’s Court. It’s such a special event where the local community come together to sing, remember, and mark the festive season. There’s always such a lovely warm atmosphere and we’re proud to be part of it again this year.
At Full Circle, we’re a funeral service with a defined purpose, supporting people’s wellbeing after loss. We know Christmas is particularly reflective time of year for many as we remember people who are no longer physically with us. And with this in mind, as well as the memorial poem, we’ll be handing out memorial postcards and information on continuing bonds at the event. We hope they help to gently open up conversations around remembering family and friends”.
No booking is required—just wrap up warm, bring your singing voices and festive spirit, and join us for what has become a traditional Christmas event in Altrincham.
