Road Closure Information
In order to safely accommodate the expected 32,000 runners taking on the challenge of the adidas Manchester Marathon on Sunday 14th April, there are a number of Road Closures & Parking Restrictions necessary.

Residents and businesses are encouraged to visit the road closure section of the website frequently in the run up to the event weekend for the most up-to date information:

There is also a helpful interactive map available on the website which is designed to help businesses and residents to quickly locate information regarding their local area - including road closure times, vehicle crossing points and parking restrictions.

Please note that closures/arrangements for each individual point are subject to very specific timings - specific details can be found by clicking directly on the point on the interactive map.

A printable downloadable version of the course map and the road closures is also available on the website.  Please note, in some unavoidable circumstances access to vehicle crossing points may be slightly delayed or shorter than stated.

A leaflet will be sent out to residents & businesses affected by road closures the w/c 6th March (deliveries will continue as across the full 7 day week so may be delivered on different days to different areas) and in addition, information will also be sent out to businesses via email. Please keep an eye out for these and read in full. A copy of the leaflet can be found HERE
