Something’s cooking in Altrincham: The Cheshire Cookery School launches ‘Friday Night Kitchen’
Friday nights are about to get a whole lot tastier. The Cheshire Cookery School is turning up the heat with the launch of Friday Night Kitchen, a brand-new series of evening cookery classes designed as the ultimate night out.

Each week, the school will transform into a buzzing, hands-on kitchen where guests can cook up a storm with friends, dates, family, or fly solo. Good food, good people, good vibes, that’s the Friday Night Kitchen.

What’s on the menu? A world of flavours. Think dim sum with a modern twist, Spanish tapas for the perfect fiesta, classic French macarons, beautifully rolled sushi, steak cooked to perfection and Middle Eastern mezze feasts. Every class is a mix of chef-led demonstrations with hands-on cooking, before everyone comes together to enjoy the fest they’ve created, drink in hand, recipes shared later to recreate the magic at home. “We wanted to create something different, something that combines a cookery class with a fun night out.” said Lisa, Owner of The Cheshire Cookery School. “It’s a chance for people to try something new, have a laugh, learn some skills and share incredible food. Friday Night Kitchen launches on 31st October, with places now available to book at www.thecheshirecookeryschool.com. The first class is all about dim sum, you’ll get hands-on with sticky soy-ginger-garlic chicken wings, crispy tiger prawn gyoza and steamed pork & truffle dumplings.
