Sigma Engineering (M/C) Ltd was founded in 1966 by Mr. Josef Sever, a Czechoslovakian patriot, who, after serving with the British Army in World War II, later settled in England. Sigma Engineering (M/C) Ltd soon became exclusive distributors worldwide for the “Sigma” semi-rotary hand wing pumps. These arrangements still continue today even after the “Velvet Divorce” of the Czech Republic and Slovakia and after the privatization of the Sigma Olomouc factory.
