Sevendale House, which was purchased in 1986, is very much the flagship of the PJD group. In addition, there are 8 other commercial properties within the portfolio, the following of which are in Manchester City Centre; Murray House in Piccadilly Gardens, One Express and Two Express in Ancoats and St John’s Court on Quay Street.

In 2014, Mark completed a £6M refurbishment at Sevendale House which was nominated in the 2016 RIBA Regional Awards.

The Grade II listed building offers over 60,000 sq ft of high quality office space and 30,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. The restoration of one of the Northern Quarter’s most prominent buildings included reinstating the lightwell and installing three new central lifts, as well as the creation of a stunning new reception area.

The fact the offices were fully let within 2 years of practical completion is testament to the quality of the refurbishment.

In 2019 St John’ Court was completely refurbished and is now available to let providing 4,800 sq ft of office accommodation over ground and three upper floors. The refurbishment of Two Express will be complete in March 2020 - all the available office space of 14,000 sq ft was pre-let to a single tenant whilst the work was being undertaken.

One Express, a 30,000 square foot Grade 11* listed building will be comprehensively refurbished this year creating high quality workspace along with a café and gym and in addition, ground breaking smart technology will be utilised to ensure that tenants requirements are catered for to produce an efficient workspace.
