Founded in Manchester in 2011, Improveasy was built on a passion for making homes warmer, greener, and more cost-effective.

Our mission has always been simple: to make energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions accessible to everyone. From the very beginning, we’ve worked to reduce carbon emissions by improving the energy efficiency of buildings, while helping households cut down on energy bills.

For over a decade, we’ve proudly delivered thousands of home upgrades through government-backed schemes such as the ECO and BUS schemes, supporting families across the UK to live in homes that are not only more affordable to run but also more sustainable for the future. Alongside this, our renewable energy offering has grown, with solar panels, air source heat pumps, and other innovative technologies forming part of our tailored 360° upgrade service. This holistic approach means that every household we work with has the opportunity to become warmer, greener, and more energy efficient, all while saving money.

Our roots in the community

With more than 100 employees, Improveasy is proud to call Altrincham home. From our two main offices, we’ve built a strong foundation, growing into three regional hubs that cover the majority of the North West. More recently, we’ve expanded further, setting down roots in South Wales, Bristol, Kent, Essex, and North London. This local presence is important to us. By working closely with communities, installers, and partners across these regions, we’re able to provide a responsive, people-first service. It also means we’re creating local jobs, investing in skills, and making a tangible difference in the very communities we serve. Many of our installers and staff live in the areas they work in, ensuring money and opportunities are reinvested back into local economies. We also see every project as an opportunity to improve lives, not just homes. Warmer, more energy-efficient properties reduce fuel poverty, improve health and wellbeing, and allow families to focus their budgets on other essentials. For almost 15 years, Improveasy has been at the forefront of the green home improvement sector, installing over £170 million worth of energy efficiency upgrades across the UK. But our work goes beyond delivering installations, it’s about guiding households and property owners through what can often be a complex journey. That’s why we created EPC Builder: a one-stop platform designed to support property owners in retrofitting their homes.
