A Taste of Altrincham
Following on from last year’s success – A Taste of Altrincham is back for 2026 – a 10-day festival highlighting Altrincham’s unique food and drink landscape through special offers, interactive demonstrations, cooking classes, and exclusive supper clubs.
This event is designed to engage food lovers of all ages and tastes, featuring a series of culinary experiences, from special offers and interactive demonstrations to culinary classes, supper clubs, and chef showcases. With the goal of increasing footfall during an often-quiet period, the event aims to drive revenue for local businesses and further enhance Altrincham’s already well-established reputation as a food destination.
A Taste of Altrincham is being organised by Altrincham BID and sponsored by Myerson.

How your business can get involved
Host an event at your business
This could include supper clubs, cookery demonstrations, wine tastings, chef showcases, classes or workshops. Booking and taking payment will be handled directly by you but we will promote your event as part of A Taste of Altrincham in the event programme, on VisitAltrincham.com and the new Visit Altrincham Digital Town Hub app as well as in press releases and social media.

Downloadable Vouchers
Offer special discounts or set-price menus, will be listed on VisitAltrincham.com and the vouchers will be available to download from the new Visit Altrincham Digital Town Hub app. This will encourage visitors and the community to try different local venues during the event. We would like the vouchers to be at the following price points – £5, £10, £15, £20, £25, £35 etc. For example, voucher offers could be as follows:

Submit your Signature Recipe for the TOA Cookery Book
Myerson Solicitors is delighted to collaborate once again with Altrincham BID to create the 2026 edition of A Taste of Altrincham, a celebration of the exceptional food and drink scene that defines our town. This edition will follow the same structure and quality standards as the 2025 cookbook, which showcased signature dishes, engaging business stories, and high-quality imagery from Altrincham’s vibrant hospitality community.
This is a valuable opportunity to highlight your venue, and one standout dish that represents your brand. The cookbook will be promoted by Myerson and Altrincham BID throughout and after the festival.
